We opened our doors, or rather our vineyard to the world just over a week ago and what an amazing response. Unfortunately the weather has been terrible and there are not many people wanting to trudge through the mud in the maze, BUT we have had a few. I must admit they were English and had bought their raincoats and wellies and semed quiet happy getting lost in the rain. They came in the bar for a coffee and a hot chocolate to warm then up and said they would be back when the sun comes out.
We have also had articles written in all the local press, and in one national paper talking about opening our doors to the publi and converting over a merlot vineyard to a maze. Le Labyrinthe is the buzz word in Carcassonne.
The Wine bar has been full in the evenings at the weekend and we have had a great response for locals wanting to book their childrens birthday parties. This was something that I was going to get round to pulishing and promoting and have had to now put it on my priority list.
The sun is just around the corner and the tourist season will be kicking off very soon. We hope that everyone in the area of Carcassonne will stop off to get lost in our Labyrinthe and spread the word
